Amer Seyed Mohamed Al Marzooqi is a distinguished Emirati lawyer and the Founder of Amer Al Marzooqi Advocates & Legal Consultants.<\/strong> He earned his law degree from the UAE University College of Law in 2006 with a \u201cvery good\u201d grade, then completed the Lawyers\u2019 Training Programme at the Judicial Training and Studies Institute of the Ministry of Justice (19 November 2006 to 27 May 2007) and the fourth cohort of the Public Prosecution Agents\u2019 Programme (9 September 2007 to 9 July 2009), graduating with honours from both.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Mr\u00a0Al\u00a0Marzooqi began his legal career in the Ministry of Justice before moving to private practice, and he is licensed to represent clients before all courts in the United Arab Emirates.<\/strong> He has been registered as a practicing lawyer before the federal courts since 1\u00a0April\u00a02010 (Registration No.\u00a01359), the Dubai courts since 9\u00a0April\u00a02010 (Registration No.\u00a0707), and the Abu\u00a0Dhabi Judicial Department (Registration No. 227) since 6\u00a0March\u00a02013. He continues to appear regularly before the Federal Supreme Court, acting for individuals and corporations in civil, commercial, criminal and family law matters.<\/p>\n

In addition to his courtroom practice, Mr\u00a0Al\u00a0Marzooqi is active in arbitration and mediation and is registered as an accredited mediator with the Ministry of Justice.<\/strong> He has extensive experience representing clients before the Dubai International Arbitration Centre and other regional arbitral institutions. Fluent in Arabic, English, Persian and Urdu, he is able to communicate effectively with a diverse client base. Over more than 15\u00a0years of practice, he has handled in excess of two thousand cases recorded before UAE courts, according to Dubai Courts statistics.<\/p>\n

As the managing partner of Amer Al\u00a0Marzooqi Advocates & Legal Consultants, Mr\u00a0Al\u00a0Marzooqi oversees a multidisciplinary team of lawyers and advisors who provide comprehensive legal services.<\/strong> The firm is known for its strength in corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and governance, while maintaining strong capabilities in civil and criminal litigation, maritime disputes, arbitration, employment law, intellectual property and taxation.
